Pierre Willy de Muylder

Though this work definately is from the hand of
de Muylder it doesn't have that much elements of the
classic surrealistic approach Muylder has in most of his works.
The concept however is strong again and during
some period in his life he uses elements from the far East.
De Muylder lived and worked in Brussels and was
a rewarded teacher at the Highschool of Art there.
Work on panel. Dimensions: 30 / 40 cm.

For those who want to compare signatures:
This one can be found on most of his works
and in fact is quite recognizable.
Many of his works can be found on the internet
as he can be regarded as one of the "younger"
belgian artist though he was born in 1922.
A pupil of Anto Carte.
