galleries in Holland do as well. Willem de Kooning was one
of his inspirors. This artist has his expositions worldwide.
Oil on canvas. Dimensions; 100 / 100 cm.

Luba Kostenko

We bought this painting described as being anonymous
The signature wasn't readable but we immediately saw
the qualities here. After a long evening search we
finally were able to discover the artiste behind this
work. Contact confirmed our first belief. This painting
depicts Gurzuf / Crimea (Black Sea - Russia)
Work on canvas. Dimensions: 85 / 97 cm.

Described by art historians as having the vitality of
Kandinsky’s palette, the boldness of Modigliani’s
style and the virtuosity of the Old Masters,
Kostenko’s works are always recognizable thanks
to her sharp, and at times paradoxical outlook on
the world, and her ability to see the special and
the unique in what she depicts.

Her works are so divers that it remains a intriguing
journey  in her art landscape. It may not appeal to
everyone at any moment but her qualities can be
discovered even by the not not so "experienced"
spectators. We should say: Give it a try!

Always difficult to discover but google translate
makes it possible to copy it on a Russian keyboard.
