Hans van Horck
This worldwide appreciated artist made more
conventional work in the eighties. This watercolour is an
example of it. Work on Paper. Dimensions 40 / 50 cm.
Though Hans van Horck (or Vanhorck) keeps on
working in a more realistic way, his abstract works
are better known to the public. At this moment he
is making sculptures as well. This one is called
"Impression" and dates from 1989. Mixed media
on paper. Dimensions: 90 / 90 cm. Though it
appears to be watercolored, Vanhorck works in
more layers of paint to obtain depth in his work
and of course color effects in special!

We call this one "Istanbul Streetscene" in a nice fluid style.
